Mickey toaster

There was an article in the Toronto Star's Shopping section about new gadgets ... one of the gadgets they talked about was the Mickey toaster It mentioned that it was available at Home Outfitters for $59.99 (I'm assuming its in CDN since it's a Canadian company). It seems to be the same model as the one on the Disneystore's website. Here's a link to the article if anyone's interested ... (there are no pictures though )

My wife gave me the Mickey toaster for Christmas. We love it. It's heavy duty and makes perfect toast each time. The negative is, after making several slices of toast, the Mickey Mouse march starts to get just a little old. Otherwise, it's worth a buy.

No wayyyy!
I was just at home outfitters on tuesday and wednesday doing my bridal registry. I did not see this toaster at either of the stores here in Wpg...for sure it would have went on my list!
I wonder when they will be getting them in???

I've often thought about getting one, they're so cute!

We got a new toaster for Christmas, but maybe it could be temporarily moved to a box in the basement.

Dana49, I can understand how the music could get tiresome after a while. Is there not a way to toast without the tune?

We have the Mickey Mornin' toaster and I've looked for a way to shut it off, but I don't believe it has one. Besides, its not very often that we make a lot of toast at one time, so the irritability is minimal at best.

If anyone is heading to a home outfitters could they check on these and report back. I have a bit of a drive to my nearest but I am curious to see if they have them in stock. I already told Dh to have it under the Christmas tree
