MIckey Stickers and Trading Places

i just was watching a Trading Spaces episode that they used Wine stickers on the walls to cover wallpaper.

How cool would it be to use the Mickey Stickers in my new Mickey house to wallpaper the kitchen or bathroom.

Hmmm, how can I get a bizzillion Mickey stickers.

Darlene - are you thinking of the paint chip samples from the Disney paints available at Home Depot (and various other places)? If so, let me know what color(s) you'd be interested in and we'll gladly pick some up for you whenever we go to any of the stores around Toronto (and there are more HDs than you can shake a paint-laden stick at around this city!) We could always ship them to you whenever we go to visit my folks in Indiana.

Our girls *love* to watch Trading Spaces, as well as While You Were Out... I like to watch them, too, but I'd be too scared to ever take part in the show. I know that some of our family would insist on "un-Disney-fying" our decor!

Now, if I could be guaranteed that they would "uber-Disney-fy" our place, then that would be completely different!

Most any cashier in a theme park has stickers. Also consider stopping by the DVC booths.

I know when I tried to get stickers for my DD I usually got 1 or 2, if she asked they usually gave her 10-15. Hope this helps/

Okay, Vern comes in and does a take off on Cinderellas castle in my bedroom. How beautiful and romantic would that be.

Frank comes in and paints small world people all over the house.

Doug comes in and puts half of Cindy's carraige coming out of the wall.

Hildie - keep that women away from my house.

Genevieve, hmm, she will just paint everything purple.

I agree, do not let these people in my house. The will take away all my Mickey -

Okay, I am no longer the Flex Queen - as they are impossible to get these days. I am now the sticker Queen.

And I love the idea of the little paint chips, how cute would that be as a border all around the room.

Have to go, I am heading to Home Depot to checkout (steal) the paint chips.

Okay, Darlene. Please send photos of all of this decorating. I'd love to see your new home. I've been gone from the boards for a while and have missed all the "news." Did you move out of MD?

Welcome back, we have missed you.

I just recently purchases a house in Winter Garden Florida.

It will not be ready until November - we are not moving there, just visiting for now, and hopefully retiring there in a couple years.

So I am just making decorating plans now.

Thanks for the welcome back. I like your gameplan. Sounds like something we should be doing in this household but just can't get the other half to think about moving. How do I spell retirement???...Mickey!!!!
