Mickey statues

I was so sad to hear they were removed already. We were there in January and saw them but I was palnning to take more pictures next week and can't!! Anyone know if they published a book with all of them in it or if they plan to? It was so interesting to see the variety of people involved in this project.

Haven't heard anything specific, but if they go the way of the Peanuts characters they will have not only a book, but also miniatures of all the statues to buy. I'm hoping they do the Lenox one in china. I would buy that in a heartbeat!

The 75 Mickey Statues were taken to Philadelphia for the Stockholder's meeting on March 3rd. They are scheduled to go on tour around the country starting in May. (I ws wondering if they were going to be returned to the MK between the stockholders meeting and the tour in May>>)

Rumor has it the ropes din't stop people (which I saw first hand) and that some of them are in need of repair before hitting the road.

I just wish they would publish more specifics on the tour already. No one seems to know much. '

When we saw them in February, I noticed that a lot of them were damaged. I also saw people let their kids climb on them.
