Mickey statues update...BOSTON

I had conflicting reports when the statues were going to actually be open to the public. I have seen on a couple of different sites that they were going to be unveiled on Saturday at NOON. I just got off the phone with Faneuil Hall and it's not until Sunday at NOON.....Bummer!

i received the disney rewards summer 2004 magazine and it states that 15 statues each will be in different cities through out the us including Boston from May through the middle of July. Do you know which ones will be in Boston??

I was in Faneuil Hall Friday night and Saturday and the statues were displayed early! They were scattered all around outside Faneuil Hall. They weren't roped off or anything and as far as I could tell, they just leave them out all night! Also, there weren't any crowds, which I thought was kind of strange.

I'll need to go back because I didn't have my camera but they were awesome to see. If you're near Boston, I'd suggest checking them out.

Ack, I was just in Boston this afternoon - nearer to Fenway park though. Maybe next weekend I'll head that way with the girls (easy for us to just jump on the train!) Are the statues going to be there for a while?

According to Faneuil Hall's website, the statues will be there until July 18. They're also going to the New England Aquarium but when I called them, they weren't too helpful.

I Hope you get in to see them...it's a great way to spend a day. Just walking around Faneuil Hall watching the street performers and then walk over to the North End for some lunch.

It will be even more fun on June 13th when a large group of DISers will be invading Faneuil Hall to check out the Mickey statues

Thanks for this info. I work in town and will have to stop by for lunch one of these days. I've only heard the Ben Affleck Red Sox Mickey is here in town, so it'll be interesting to see the others. We were at WDW when the statues were there, but it rained every day and we weren't able to get any pictures. Funny to be able to get some pictures back home!

I have a great picture of DH with the Red Sox Mickey, we took it in Jan. at WDW. I didn't think these Mickeys would be any big deal, but they are really cool, and worth seeing.

Unfortunately, June 13 is the Cancer Walk here in Salem, MA so I won't be able to go to the meet, but it sure sounds fun!
