Hi-

I was wondering if anyone has the scissors that cut in the shape of small Mickey heads? I have used them a couple of times and just don't like how the mickey heads look (they don't look like Mickey heads). The scissors just don't cut very well. I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this or if you have any ideas on what I can do?

(I have the Mickey head punch and LOVE it!)

Thanks in advance!

Yep, I finally used those scissors, and got frustrated that they wouldn't cut cleanly.

Very annoying!

Yep I have them too, very difficult to make work "correctly". I have a stamp that does something similar, but really makes frames. They need to do it where it is just 12 inches straight and that way I could really make it do whatever I wanted. Anyway yes the scissors like to be difficult.

I have them as well (actually 2 pair - I bought one and got one as a gift). I find them extremely annoying and my kids really have a tough time with them. I am so mad that I spent money on them!

I bought them in WDW and I hate them. They dont make a crisp edge at all. Very disappointed in it

Same here...I never get a clean cut - straight or not. :( I thought it might be the weight of the paper, but it doesn't seem to matter. I thought maybe I got a pair that weren't sharp enough so I tried cutting tin foil, but it didn't matter. I thought they might be getting stuck so I tried cutting waxed paper, but it didn't matter. :confused3 I stopped using them.

Well, I'm glad that I am not the only one that couldn't get these scissors to work. :rotfl: I was so excited to find these, but so sad when I got home and I couldn't get them to work. :guilty:

I picked a pair up almost a year ago and have yet to use them for a scrapbook page -- I've only tested them out on scrap paper and they don't cut very well.

Had I known that, I would've bought another punch instead of them! Oh well.

Same here! Bought a pair last Sept and they've basically sat in a drawer ever since. I'll post up if I ever find a use for them!

Maybe as part of a mobile hanging from our scrapbook worktable lamps? :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

Add me to the list. Thought it was just me. Wanted them for borders and mats.

Sigh...........

Add me to the list of those who are so disappointed with the use of the Mickey sissors. What a rip off. I have used them to make on cut out Mickey head on the corner of a picture but when I used them to outline something it looks more like paper ripped out of a spiral notebook and not Mickey heads. :furious:

I agree they suck, but if you really want to use them I have found that it helps if you cut very slowly and try to make the sissor edges closer together with the hand you are holding the sissors with. Does that make any sense?
