Mickey Party - need current tips for a Tue. night!

Can anyone provide some tips for attending the Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party mid week?

Seems like I read that mid week there is only one parade/ true??

Strategy tips?

We went Thursday, Dec 2 and there were two parades scheduled. We left before the last one at 10:45 but it was def on the schedule.

Were there on 11/30 and saw the last parade. But we found it to be somewhat more crowded than last year and didn't get to do quite as much as we wanted. Of course, we did stand around a lot just visiting with some other DISers!!! That cut into our attraction riding time. If you want to do a lot of the shows, then you may want to cut down on the rides you do. It's really hard to do both. We found the second parade to be a little less crowded.

We went Dec. 2 (thursday) and were able to enter the park at 4:30pm with our MVMCP ticket. The Frontierland/Adventureland part of the park was almost empty. Then around 6:00pm even though we had our bracelets on we were ushered to Cindy's castle for the opening of MVMCP.

The Lake Howell Brass band was great. I'm afraid these kids don't get the credit due because the crowds seemed to avoid their area in Tomorrowland in lieu of Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. But if you have a chance stop by and see them it was very entertaining!
