Okay, I have to ask what do you guys all do with the mickey paint swatches from Home Depot? I am so into making things this time for my son! LOL. I am in the process of making a scrapbook but I have seen so much talk about the green mickey paint swatches but I cant find the use for them anywhere. Help would be appreciated!

Also, do you guys do anything else for the kids? We made a paper chain to count-down the days, Im planning on also making him a scrapbook. He is 7 and this is his first time to Disney and first time on an airplane!! Hes really only been to the Beach before.

Thanks so much!

We saw that a few people had taped them to their cabin doors on the Wonder last May when we went. I wanted to say Hi, but felt odd knocking on their doors, I did hope to see them leaving their room but never did.

The paper chain countdown is a great idea. I am thinking of making a book/scrapbook style thing for my DS to look at on the ride in the car down there. I am thinking of putting things together in the ABC format. A=Animal Kingdom (have a picture or even something talking about it for me to read to him) A=Aladin, B= Buzz Lightyear C=Cinderella's castle...... I have made a post some place called ABC of Disney asking for suggestions to go with some of the letters in the Alphabet.

I used them in my SCRAPBOOK from our last trip. There was one on each page the coordinated with the color of the characters costumes. Then that set the tone for the page and everything coordinated with them. When I did a general page for each park, I used my circle punch to cut out my DD's face and pasted her in the center of the circle. then only the ears were showing in the color. It was a nice way to coordinate the book.

Okay so here is my question. Do you take them off of the card they are on. I peeled one of them off but it made the ears roll up and it tore slightly. So do you cut it out, leave it, or peel it off?

I blew them up larger on my printer and made it into a large magnet for our Disney Wonder Cruise Last May!!! I made 5 of them as we had alot of family members traveling with us. The kids really got a kick out of it.

I also enlarged one and made a luggage tag out of it and attached it to my carryon

Both great ideas hope you do not mind but I am so stealing it!

We use ours as luggage tags . . . not just green, but all the colors. We just laminate it up and use old shoelaces to tie them on our luggage!

dh laminated mine back to back and i will punch a hole in them and hang them on our backpacks with lime green ribbon.....so if you see us please say hello.... vicki

I tried to peel it off but also took off too much backing. I tried cutting one out and that was worse. I finally got it by carefully peeling the edges but leave much of the backing. I also put them back to back and laminated, punched a hole and used a keychain (hoop or chain) for hanging. Get some more and practice! I had fun making them.

No I dind't peel it off. I just placed it on my color printer at work and enlarged it for the magnet and the luggage tag. Then cut the enlargement out so it was just Mickeys head.:cool1: Laminated the luggage tag!!

I ijust left them on the cards. The paint color name is printed on there...Princess Pink, Neverland Blue, etc. Sometimes I add fibers to one end and make a tag or punch a slit in each side and slide them onto a ribbon to stretch across the page.

I love the idea about the luggage tags. So cute!
