Mickey Mouse

When we go I want to get a photo taken with Mickey Mouse. I know he's probably around a lot, but I want traditional Mickey - red pants and all. I don't want any themed costumes. I guess I'm weird. Is it around all over the park or is there designated locations? Also, which parks... do the characters go around Epcot and MGM as well as Magic Kingdom?

And I also want a pic with Stitch - would he be near the Stitch Great Escape?

I guess I'm a little strange-Mickey and Stitch what a combination. And we'll do pics with other characters if we happen to see them.

The "traditional" Mickey was the very first character we met in 2000. He was at MGM. I was really glad to see him first....it was perfect.

I have been 3 times, and we still have not seen Mickey Mouse walking around or somewhere to get a pic. Good Luck.

That's where we saw him!!! Fantasmic Mickey is pretty cool, too!! He is in MGM!!!

Exactly what i was going to say!! We went there in 1999(our first family trip) and the line was soooooo long!!! But great experience!!

We saw "traditional" Mickey at the Judge's Tent last weekend--he was awesome.

What I couldn't believe was the long line to see the Princesses (in the building next door)!! There was hardly a line to see Minnie & Friends, or Pooh & Friends....it was nuts!

Hmmm I thought it was the judges tent, but whatever it's called you line up behind Mickey's house in toon town.

You might have better luck with short line ups in Toontown about an hour before MK closes, assuming that the Judge's Tent is still open then...I know that the characters in the Toontown Hall of Fame are still there then.

Is that the tent? I know in the tent the have the character greetings with different characters all day. But I though you had to go through Mickey's house to meet him.

Well, the Mickey at the Judges Tent (which you can reach by going through Mickey's house) is Mickey in his tuxedo. I have never seen Mickey in just his red shorts.

As for Stitch, he is in MK near his ride, AK next to Island Mercantile, and MGM in front of the hat.

You are correct. The Judge's Tent is the building where Mickey is located after you walk through his house. Minnie and friends, Pooh and friends, and the Princesses are located in separate rooms in Toontown Hall of Fame, which is also a big store.

Original Mickey can be found in front of Cindy's castle in the AM and also in the afternoon.

That's where we have seen him AND Minnie on our past visits.

I have caught Orginal Mickey near the train station on Main St several times "welcoming " guests

We caught up with traditional Mickey at MK first thing in the morning standing in a little landscaped circle at the opposite end of Main STreet from the Castle. He was wearing red pants and a black jacket....I don't think we've ever seen him in his red shorts. And he didn't stay there very long--there is no shade... I can't remember if Minnie was there with him, I'm thinking she was.

Can't help you with Stitch though.

I have read other threads that say if you mention to a CM that you are desperate to see someone, some of them will be kind enough to find out where they are.

mickey with his red long pants and black tails jacket can be seen where other posters have mentioned....but i agree that i have never seen mickey with just his shorts and yellow shoes on.

i also have never seen minni with her traditional polka dotted dress on, but then up until this point i have only had a son who wasn't all that interested in seaching for minni. if he saw her, great, but he wasn't out looking for her.

We caught Mickey in his pants and jacket at the Judges Tent, too. It's not the shorts, but we've never seen him in his shorts, so this was as traditional as it got for us. Traditional-Minnie was in the character greeting circle just inside the park last time we were there. We were actually on line for Daisy Duck, but she left after signing an autograph for the little girl in front of us. However, her CM whispered as she left "Don't leave. You won't be sorry." After a minute or two wait while Daisy was escorted offstage, out came Minnie. The look in DDs eyes was priceless - we'd met Mickey twice in 2 visits, but not Minnie.

I thought "Traditional Mickey" is also at the Sorcerer's Hat at MGM Studios and on the Characters on Holiday bus at Epcot.
