Mickey Mouse House

We leave in 12 days and my DS(4) is really wanting to go to Mickey Mouses house and meet Mickey. I thought I saw something about going to Mickey's house for the Toon Town morning, but I can't find Toon Town on the maps either. I'm sure I'm missing something really obivous but can somebody help? Also is Toon Town the only place you can see Mickey or is he out and about at other places through the day?

Yay for you going so soon! Mickey's house is in toon town which is at the back end of the park, past it's a small world ride. You can go through mickey's house and then meet mickey at the end. Mickey does make other appearances in the park, but this is the easiest to get pics and autographs, I think.

Toontown is the farthest back part of the park from the entrance, just past It's a Small World and Princess Fantasy Faire. You can meet Mickey (the queue is his house) and explore Minnie's house (she's not in there though). I don't think you can meet Mickey anywhere else, though he is in parades and shows all over.

We have also seen Mickey several times just after you enter the park through the tunnels. He has been there with several other characters signing autographs and taking pictures.

We have also seen Sorcerer Mickey at DCA in the Animation building.

Mickey and Minnie make an appearance at the Pat E. Cake birthday celebration at Plaza Inn as well.

you asked about toon town morning? Are you asking about morning madness?tha requires vochers that you get when you book a package thru WDT or places like AAA.
Other than getting vouchers it's not open to the public. But as PPs hav said Mickey is at his house, and we have seen him on main street by the firehouse numerous times and over by the ear shop Across the street from the firehouse down from the bank on the right as you go in. Also during the flag ceremony leading the band, but that isn't a meet.
He and Minnie are in DCA dressed in California style clothes lol in the sunshine plaza from time to time. We spent a longer visit with him there than on main street in DL, the lines were smaller have fun hunting him down you can also go to city hall and ask for a schedule where he will be hth

You can also see Mickey and Minnie as well as others on Main Street just as you enter the park many times throughout the day.

Last time through Mickey's house we saw the black & white Mickey. Does City Hall have a schedule as to "which" Mickey is there at what times during the day? I guess I'll find out Friday!!!

Both times we have seen Mickey and Minnie first thing when Toontown opens. They were both waiting in front of their houses.

We've seen, and could meet (or did meet) Mickey all over the place. He and Minnie are regularly in the City Hall area, both right near that building (our last sighting...DS didn't even need an autograph he's gotten so many from MM) and across near the hat shop. He's over in DCA in his sort of casual John Lasseter type shirt (the button up, short-sleeved, patterned shirts) and khaki shorts. He's outside in ToonTown, he's in his house in TT (but not when he's in a parade, of course!). He's alllll over and willing to meet people (again, not when in a parade).

DS got to meet that Mickey (Steamboat Willie Mickey is what we call him) at his House too. IT was really cool, the way the black and white is done.

The interesting thing about the meet/greet in Mickey's House (by the way, the House is all basically one big line to meet him. It becomes more line-like as you go along, but really, the whole place is a line) is that he's magical.

The last place you wait is a cartoon screening room. (for anyone with sensitive ears, it's noisy, bring earplugs!) You do switchbacks while watching the old-time cartoons, and finally you get to the door manned by a CM.

The CM lets in groups. One group of people can go in and they'll meet Sorcerer Mickey...and another group will be called in, even before you'd think the first group was done (how does he do that? ) and Mickey will have changed into normal Mickey, then another group will be let in to the hallway (with many different doors as options for the CMs to send you in) and they'll meet B&W Mickey, well before that second group would normally have been done. I tell you, it's MAGIC.

There's just no way to predict it. Though it's possible the CM knows when Mickey will magically change, and you could ask them if you could meet him while he's B&W Mickey.

Mickey and Minnie are in Toon Town ALL DAY not just for the toon town morning madness, so you can see them later, which we have done. The lines can be long but move pretty quickly.

Also Mickey is all over the place - near park entrance, etc. throughout the day.

As others have said, check with city hall for daily appearances.

Don't worry - you will see him!
