In the early 1980's my brother visited Disney World ,and upon entering the park he received a limited edition stuffed Mickey Mouse doll. I don't remember the circumstances of why he received the doll, but I want to say it had something to do with being the such and such number person to ever enter Disney World. After recieving the doll he was quickly offered $200 for the doll, which he refused. Well the doll is sitting somewhere at my mother's house and I was trying to get an idea of the dolls worth, but I'm not sure what to call the doll. Is it a door prize doll? Or limited edition doll? Does a category existed for such collectables? Any help with this would be most appreciated. Thanks.

As a doll collector, you might find this doll (although I think it would be considered "plush" rather than a doll) on any doll collecting sites. I can't think of a place to direct you right off the top of my head (I am at work). Part of my problem is that I collect a specific doll/brand, and you would not find MM at any of those sites. You might want to head to your local Barnes & Noble (or to their online shop) to search for a book on collecting items such as this to try to get a rough idea of it's value.

Keep in mind it's only as valuable as what someone else is willing to pay, so to speak. Good luck in your search. Come back to Walt Disney World soon!
