Mickey Mouse at Tusker House?

Hi. My son wants to eat with Mickey Mouse for his birthday. Back when I made the reservations via wdw-dine, she said the only opening for Mickey Mouse was at Tusker House. She told me MM would be there. Upon reading the WDW book I just received, it is Donald, Goofy and Pluto. I have been telling my 2 year old child for months that he is going to eat with Mickey Mouse on his actual birthday. We have even been seeing others and saying, "Garrett, tell her/him who you are going to eat breakfast with on your birthday...and he smiles so huge and says Mickey Mouse, YEA!" Now after reading that, I have had to prepare him for "Mickey will try to be there...., but he doesn't know for sure." How heartbreaking! Has anyone done the character dining for a breakfast there? PLEASE tell me good news...I sure hope you can tell me MM was there. I don't know what to do....that is all he wanted for his birthday.

I think Mickey is always there, so I think you are fine. It's Minnie who is not at Tusker House. When we were there last December, like the post above, we had Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy.

Yes the big mouse was there when we went 2 months ago. Plus the food at Tusker House breakfast is very good. I hope you enjoy your meal and your son's first Mickey meet.

We were at tusker house in december for breakfast. Mickey, minnie, donald, daisie & goofy. Very good buffet and character interaction. He will love it!
