Mickey Moms Panel odd email

I got an email tonight about a contest for the Mickey Moms Panel members (all of us that didn't make it onto the actual panel ) that gives 1000 people the opportunity to win a in-home "What Will You Celebrate?" party for up to 10 adults and 10 children. It is supposed to have a few goodies, WDW recipes, WDW themed party ideas, etc. and the essays have to be answered between today and Friday. I tried clicking on the link provided but it takes me to a site not associated with Disney. I wouldn't think that this is like those forged eBay emails because there are absolutely no credit cards or any of my money tied to my Moms Panel info.

Anyone else get this email? Can anyone get the link to work? Am I losing my mind? (Don't answer that last one!)

Interesting. I even sent an email to the email addy listed in the email and it came back as undeliverable. Of course this is typical of my Monday.

I got the email too but the funny thing was, it went to the email address I use for business instead of my disney email address. I also applied for the mom's panel but I used a different address than what was used for the email. The link http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/mmc/index?id=MMCLoginPage&bhcp=1 takes me to the members-only page of the mom's panel which you have to log in for. Then it says:

You may submit a request to be a host between March 2, 2009, and March 6, 2009, by answering three essay questions. Each registered Mickey Moms Club member may submit essay answers only once. We will review the essays and select up to 1,000 Mickey Moms Club members to receive the In-Home Celebration kit.

I finally got it to work, lol. Darn thing! I was determined not to get beat by a silly email.

I got it too. Filling out essays are not worth a box of junk. I herd the prizes were weak last time.

I got the same email last night & the link worked for me. I went ahead & filled out the essay questions and everything went through fine.

The Mickey Moms Panel emails seem to regularly have problems -- polls you can't answer, etc., so it wouldn't be surprising if this one had a problem, too.

Got email last night....couldn't get the link to work. Tried first thing this morning...and it worked fine. Filled it out and sent it....hate essays, but keeping fingers crossed! Love that they will notify next week!

What prizes last time? I only have done the essays for the mom's pannel, nothing like this before, did I miss something? I did get a little kit with stickers, mouse pad, pins etc last year as a conselation gift type thing for not getting on the pannel, is that what you mean? I did the essays for this one, it can't hurt right?

I just got the email this morning. If I can find the time between everything else that I have going this week I may answer the questions, but not going to stress about it... Especially after seeing that people have concerns about it...

I did it, I thought it was funny I kept getting one part rejected. I spent about an hour trying to figure it out. I took out Dole Whip and it was accepted, apparently Whip is not allowed! I don't mind if it is anotehr in home party thing. I have never done one and have been to wayyyyyy too many for my friends, so they owe me!

I think this is like a HouseParty kind of thing, but I would like to think my odds are better here than at HouseParty!

It does sound a little like that but at least I could get excited and passionate about Disney as opposed to if I were to try to do the other things (like PC, SL, Avon, etc.). I'm open to see what it is. I say 'Bring it on Disney!'.
