I've been trying to read through the Cake thread and I feel like my eyes are bleeding LOL - so many pages of great info & pics!

We're staying at the GF May 4 - 5. I was super lucky enough to get a dinner at Chef Mickey's on May 4 (was hoping for bfast on the 5th) but heck I'll take what I get!!

We're doing breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (I was hoping dinner for this one - but whatever).

So my plan all along has been a Mickey head cake and a Minnie head cake for dinner on May 4 at 1900 Park Fare. Will they do the same cakes for me at Chef Mickeys? What do they do for birthdays at Chef Mickeys for dinner?

Our bfast at 1900 P.F. is at 9am - so not a great time for cakes obviously.

I guess I could always do the cakes in our room at GF though right?

Am I better off emailing my request since the phone seems to get mixed service reports?

I've read through some of the cake thread too, it is SO LONG! Anyhow, lots of people made the point that when you're doing a buffet time of meal you might be stuffed after. They recommend doing a cake in your room because it's set up nice, has cutlery/plates and then you don't have to carry around extra cake from your restaurant should you want to take the rest home. My DD8 will be celebrating her b-day while we're they're at the Grand Floridian so we're planning to just have cake back at the room. Just my 2 cents! :goodvibes
