Mickey,Minnie and Alice Oh My!

Ok I just got back from 'The World' spent a wondeful,Pixie Dust filled 7 days there. Here are some highlights. I am into the characters, as many of us Disers are here is some expirences.

At Animal Kingom saw
the usual on the landing into Dinoland Pooh,Tigger and Eeyore!

At Camp Minnie Mickey saw
Mickey,Minnie,Goofy and Donald

At Rafiki's Planet watch saw
Pocahontas (Very beautiful) and Rafiki (Both new for me)

At Epcot saw
The Character Connection~ saw Mickey,Minnie,Pluto,Goofy,Chip and Dale and Alice. All (except Alice) were dressed in the new Year of a Million Dreams outfits! Loved them..very sharp.

The next visit on another day..same line up except Belle was there not Alice and Chip and Dale were in just there chipmunk outfit no YOAMD costume like before.

RODE NEMO.VERY CUTE!!!!!

In France we saw Cinderella and Belle

I asked about the 3 caballaros (Mexico)....they were not scheduled for that day.....

At Magic Kingdom

This time was chaos each day no lines..characters walking about you had to literally stop them to get a photo

No Brer Rabbit or Fox or Bear...sadly

It rained a bit Monday night so they opened another line we entered it was The Tweedles, The Walrus (from Alice)..Then in came Mickey, Queen of hearts and White Rabbit....the others left....they moved the Alice Characters from the Trick or treat trail inside. Exiting into the gift shop..we heard some noise.it was Alice,Mad Hatter and Meeko (from Pocahontas) all playing in the shop..we watched them for a bit...very entertaining. The rain let up so they went back to the trick or treat trail..on the trail The Mad Hatter greeted us, later Alice took his place..they all alternate about every 30 minutes or so.

I love Rabbit so I was very excited. First time he was out about 1:00 then again I took a shot he would be out again and he was about 2:25..so I saw him twice!!!!

At the Hat (I believe hat greetings stop at 12:00 or 12:30)
Chip,Dale and Clarisse (they do switch with Lilo and Stitch for breaks)
Goofy and Minnie (they switch with Mickey and Pluto for Breaks)
Donald and Daisy (They switch with Pooh and Tigger for breaks)
The fab 5 characters were all dressed in the new YOAMD outfits so cool!

The hat greetings are fun BUT you could be in line for one group and it can get switched on you mid line....

I SUPER appreciate character reports!!! Thanks!! Great to see Clarice is still out! I didn't know the Country Bears like Big Al were popping up at MK, as they haven't been as common as they used to be! And Rabbit was out as well! Sounds like you had an awesome trip all around!

I went to CC today to see the characters in their new outfits. I saw Mickey, Minine, Pluto, Goofy, and the chipmunks. All were in the blue outfits except the chipmunks. So I will try to get over to MGM to get Donald and the chipmunks in blue. But here is Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy in blue. You really can't see Pluto's collar from the picture. It is light blue with sparkles.

Those are cute outfits...

I can't believe you found Aurora in Toontown--2 weeks ago we had to chase her all over the World for an autograph! The hotline said she wouldn't be in Toontown either of our MK days, but we finally got her behind the castle at an extended greet when they cancelled LHAB for a couple of shows (I think because they were painting right above the stage).

You've also just talked me into MNSSHP for next year--I didn't think we should budget it for this year b/c of doing CRT, etc. but I DIDN'T KNOW I'D MISS ALL OF THE ALICE IN WONDERLAND CHARACTERS! Alice is my favorite and I spent a whole week searching for (nonexistent) merchandise and looking forward to DD getting to go to the Wonderland Tea Party! Now I'm going to the Halloween party, even if we eat peanut butter sandwiches the whole week at WDW!

You found some great characters--I want to be back at Disney!

Correction: the new castle show is called "Dream Along with Mickey".

These are cute... you know where we will be Saturday morning! Tara loves them in blue so she will surely stand in line for these photo ops. (At least that is what she told me last night when I first read about it!).

Keeping up with these characters is a full time job... too bad the pay is so bad! Pixie dust does not pay the bills!

WE were at MNSSHP on 10/17 and our 2 DS's also got a group photo with Tarzan, Jane and TErk at the Adventureland Trick or Treat Trail.

AND you are so right about the characters at the MGM hat switching after breaks. Our 2 DS's were determined to meet Clarice with CHip and DAle . It took 3 tries to finally get them.

FYI---Jiminy Cricket is now doing meet and greets daily at RAfifi's Planet Watch . I THINK he's in the Conservation Station---the area with the animal health careetc. displays We were SOOOO excited having never met him before!!
