With nothing much planned today we were in bed until 8:30 and didn't go out until 9:45. First stop of the day was Downtown Disney where we got a polo shirt and t-shirt that we hadn't got round to buying before, then over to the pin shop to get another couple of pins.
From Downtown Disney we went over to the Winter Summer land golf course, where we played the Winter course and, thanks to a couple of fluke holes-in-one and it only being an hour or so since it opened, I got the lowest score of the day and a certificate to prove it.
After my winning golf game we went over to Wal-Mart to buy a couple of boxes of Lucky Charms for my friend then it was back to the Boardwalk for a lunch of corn dog and chips for me and breaded chicken sandwich and chips for Dad.
After lunch we got the boat across the lake and had a wander around the Yacht and Beach club and then walked back to BWV to start on our packing. As we walked back we saw Cinderella’s coach on it’s way to a wedding.
We managed to get everything packed away with no problems then relaxed for a couple of hours before going down to the Belle Vue lounge at 6:15 for pre-dinner drinks - margarita for Dad and Tennessee Honey for me.
At 7:00 we made our way back round to EPCOT, arriving 20 minutes early for our 7:40 reservation at Le Cellier. We were seated within a few minutes and both started with the cheddar cheese soup followed by mushroom filet mignon for me and strip steak for Dad, washed down with moose head ale. Neither of us managed to finish our steaks so we took the left overs in a couple of boxes and went out to find a spot for Illuminations.
As expected with such a late dinner all of the best spots were gone and there was another private party at the peninsula so we had to settle for one row from the front on the UK/France bridge, which wasn't ideal for a last viewing of Illuminations but wasn't too bad either.
After the fireworks we made our way back to BWV where we were in bed by 10:00 facing the prospect of our journey home tomorrow.
