We were up at 7:30 this morning and out by 8:20 for the relatively short walk to Hollywood Studios, stopping to take some photos along the way.

We were at the Studios a bit later than normal, which meant we were further back in the race to Toy Story, but that meant more time in the queue to take photos.

The ride was as good as ever, but Dad was convinced his gun wasn't working as his score was lower than usual.

After Toy Story we were going to go on the Backlot Tour but it wasn't open so we ended up just wandering the park for a while before deciding that there really wasn't anything else left that we wanted to do there so we got the boat back to the Boardwalk, went back to the room and ate a pecan cinnabon each instead.

At about 1:20 we went back out and drove over to Magic Kingdom where the first stop was Pooh, which we stupidly believed only had a 0 minute wait and got caught in a queue for about half an hour. I would have ducked back out again but Dad had been handed one of the red wait time tags so we waited, and waited, and waited some more.

When we came off of Pooh it was time to think about getting a spot for the parade so we wandered round to our usual spot outside Hall of Presidents, but as there was no shade there we ended up going further round into Frontierland where we found a nice shady spot to wait the 45 minutes or so for the parade to come past.

After the parade we went round to Aloha Isle for a pineapple dole whip and then went on Jungle Cruise, which was only about a 5 minute wait. The jokes were the same old stuff but delivered by a great skipper which really made the ride enjoyable. I was going to do the 'new' version of Tiki Room next but it didn't appear to be open so instead we ended up wandering back through Adventureland, Liberty Square and Fantasyland into Tomorrowland and into Carousel of Progress.

From there we went back to Main Street where Dad bought himself a polo shirt and a Mickey glass for me.

By now it was about 5:00 so we made our way out of the park and over to Bahama Breeze on International Drive for dinner. Dad had a Cuban Sandwich and I had chorizo sliders and we had a lemon breeze to drink each.

After dinner we went back to BWV where, for the first time, they had signs out saying that due to limited space parking was for registered guests and people with dining reservations only - everybody else was being redirected to the overflow car park across the road.

We were in bed by 10:00 ready for an early start for the 40th birthday celebrations at Magic Kingdom tomorrow.

Day 11

Another fab day, the pooh ride is always a long wait even done it with fastpasses and waited, s l o w loading or what, but well worth it IMHO

We have never travelled from Boardwalk to DHS - must do it next time.
I like the pic of TOT......E-E-R-I-E :scared1:
