Mickey Lamp Post?

You don't want to hear what they want to ship it to Canada! :scared1:

I have always found them in stock (all the parts) at the Home Depot at 7423 Southland Blvd., Orlando, FL 32809 (407) 859-3500 (near the Florida Mall)

If the $10.00 shipping is too much, just drive to Orlando and pick them up! :rolleyes1

None of my local HD/Lowes carried them and I have ordered two sets of two 12" from 1000bulbs.com and with shipping they were around $50 total, but I have two mickey lamp posts ... one at the S&B and one for the trailer and I had to replace the trailer one when it took an ungraceful "HEADER" into the pavement when the dog pulled it over on the leash which was my fault. I now have one left for another "EVENT".

Well I guess I will have to stick with my hanging version for now:cloud9:

Or, you can even come to Daytona Beach, our HD has all the globes in stock.

Well I went by our local Menards and found a 12" post light for $29 that I think will work.
Here are a couple more pictures of the light I just did.

Love the hanging light. How did you isolate the light in the ears from the head? In other words...more info please.

Thanks
The big globe is a celing fixture I replaced for someone 20 years ago (packrat) and I hole sawed the ear globes in and used small metal straps (holdits that hold metal outlet boxes in the wall) and bent them to hook on the lip inside the big globe. Then I used candleabra base sockets and attached them to the straps then wired them to the main socket.
When I change the orange bulb after Haloween I will take some pictures.

I do much the same thing to light the ears.

I use metal strapping you can buy in any hardware store and bend it so it clips on the flange of the small globes. I use christmas light sockets and simply rivet them to the metal straps.
