I had to share. A few weeks ago I asked for advice about when to tell dd’s teacher we were going WDW the week after Thanksgiving. After all the advice dh & I decided to wait until closer to. I had told dd not to worry about telling her teacher that Daddy & I would take care of it when the time was right.

Well Thursday dd had her meet the teacher meeting. At the end of the meeting Holly’s teacher (Mrs. S.) asked if she had any questions. Holly said will I have homework to do when we go to Disney World. :scared1: Mrs. S. looked at me and at that point I had to fill her in about our trip. Mrs. S. told Holly you will have homework. You will have to know the spelling words plus memory verse & catechism for the week when we came back. Oh and you will have few more assignment. (This is where I got a bit nervous I was waiting for the other shoe to drop so to speak :rolleyes1 ) Mrs. S. asked If she bought the postcards will you mail them back to the class? Also, to have an amazing time and share with the class when she comes back. :teeth: As far as the rest of her class work we were told we could do that when we return & she would give us a week to do it in. She just asked that I remind her few times between now & then.

I was shocked to say the least. I told Mrs. S. that if she could be that generous we could pop for the postcards. :woohoo:

Mrs. S rocks! I hope we have the same experience with our children's teachers.
