Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew how much the interactive Mickey plush goes for? For those who own one, how do you like it?

Where can you purchase them at the parks? Can they be purchased at the resort hotels?

Thanks!:D

We got our Pal Mickey last summer at the BC store. It was about $50. I think most of the resorts sell them. At least they did last summer.

They were $50.00, but the price went up to $60.00. I really like mine. He even tells you when a ride has short lines and he reminds you when a show or event is about to start. In AK he tells you about the different animals, Epcot he gives you facts about the different countries as you pass by. I wouldn't buy him for a one time only trip, but if you go to Disney frequently than I think he is worth it. When you are not at the park he does play games. You can purchase him at the resorts and throughout the parks, or you can rent him.

We got our Pal Mickey in June. It was $50, but as DVC members, we received a $10 off coupon which we used. We love Mickey! He gave us a lot of information as we were walking through the parks (especially when we had already walked down one path and he told us to go down the other)! He received a lot of attention when CM's saw him. A good way for them to start conversations with us. My kids would play his games while we were waiting for busses. We can't wait to use him again in April!::MickeyMo :earsboy:

I think it was $8-9. Sounded like a neat idea but didn't want to carry anything else. And I know who would be carring it!! Did anyone find it annoying??

Some friends just brought back one each for my two DDs. It's a Christmas present and the way they will find out we'll be going to Disney for New Years!! When no one is around, I go into the closet just to listen to him talk!!

Each trip, my dd is allowed one somewhat expensive gift. This past August her choice was Pal Mickey. She loved him!!! Although some of his corny jokes got real old, real fast!! He is now all packed, lanyard around his tummy, ready for our trip this Friday. Can't wait to activate hime again!!!

I bought one last week on ebay. It was advertised as being "new with tags, but no box". There was also a a "new in box" and "slightly used" available at that time. I paid a total of $45 with S/H charges. I figure I got a deal, as long as it turns out to be as it was advertised to be. I am anxiously awaiting it now. ::MickeyMo

We ended up carring our boy's Pal Mickeys (yes, they each got one ;) ) about half of the time. After I bought bottle straps in Epcot it was easier for them, and they carried them more. The belt clip made my DS6 pants slide down a bit :o . Every time Mickey vibrated, they would put him right up to their ears, stop, and listen. This was not so good at rope drop- but they became adept at walking and listening very quickly. Also- he will tell you the times of shows about to start. All through lunch at CP my DS6 was in a state because Pal Mickey wanted him to go to the show that was just about to start in front of the castle! So, be flexible with your touring plans if your little one is listening to Mickey.

My girls (6&8) shared one last August and will share again in November They LOVED it, for them one was plenty. They took turns wearing him and most of the time could play and listen together. We also used the water bottle strap as the clip didn't work and with the bottle stap they could share easier. Its just the three of us so carrying another would have been more of a pain than it's worth.

Even though we are frequent park visitors he gave us lots of interesting and usefull information. I remember hearing alot of cool information at AK and Epcot. He also let us know when there were shorter lines at particular attractions. One day at MGM, since we arrived after lunch and anticipated lines we had planned to start with some shows or less popular rides. Pal Mickey mentioned no line at RnRc so we gladly changed plans.

glad to know he works as planned (re: lines, shows, etc).... I can't wait to use him in Jan.!!!:smooth:

thanks guys! I'm looking forward to getting one! I can't believe that the prices already went up! Aren't they pretty new? Does the Mickey have a chip in it? Like will they be able to change the "dialogue" every year just so it's always new and fresh?

Thanks!!!
