Mickey Huggies Diapers

Hi Guys,

I am new to DISboards and am so....glad I have found all of you! I want to figure out if you guys are as nuts as I am. I live in Chicago, and like by you, the new Huggies are Simba not Mickey anymore. Well, first off I am so nuts that the only reason I go with the huggies is because of Disney (even if I have a Pampers coupon) but now I find myself checking shelves for forgotten packages of the actual Mickey ones!!! It's one of my latest missions! Isn't that crazy! I found 3 packages the other day!!!!!!!!!!

We have gone to Disney with Grandma, Bappa, Mom, Dad, Daughter and Uncle every year since my daughter was born in 2002. She is 3 (turning 4 in November)l. We go to WDW October 11th for an EIGHT night stay at the Grand Floridian and I CAN NOT WAIT!!!! My son (who will be on his first vacation)will turn ONE there on the 12th and my parents will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary there on the 15th.

I have already sorted through all the diapers to pick out the cutest Mickey pictures in the package for our trip!

well that's cool that you found the mickey ones. We bought some from Sams club awhile back that had mickey on the box but when we opened them they were simba. Still Disney but not quite the same.

The Mickey ones are so cute I can't stand it! No offense to Simba or Pooh for that matter. Mickey's just my main man!
I'll just keep searching.....

Our DS loves Mickey, but I found a nice set of tiny Disney board books at Target that are real brief symposis of 10 or 12 Disney stories (i.e. Pinocchio, 101 Dalmations, etc.). Well, they include Lion King and DS loves that book and talks about Simba. Whenever he sees a lion, he says Simba (or at least fairly often). Sometimes he says "Mufasa". It's so cute. Anyways, the Simba diapers are a hit here. It's neat that you seek out the Mickey diapers though -- sounds like something I would do!

I bought a box at Costco a few months ago and they were Mickey. I haven't been there in awhile the next time I go I'll buy a box and see who's on the diaper. I might switch to Huggies Supreme because DD loves Pooh. She's too young to know who Simba is.

Is it just the regular huggies that are Simba? I bought 2 boxes of Huggies supreme at Babies R Us just last week and they are both Mickey. They were size 3 maybe that is the difference. Did I just get lucky, are they changing the Supreme also?

I haven't had any Mickey Huggies around here in ages, 6 months or more. I figured they had switched for Simba everywhere. I live in Central FL, you'd think they'd let us have Mickey.

I live in Chicago and I saw Mickey Huggies at jewel on the Northside. Where are you (downtown, North, South, West side? or suburb?) and what size are you looking for? I will take a look when I go back to the store agian.

You did get lucky because they are gone!!! I think the ones we do find are from random boxes coming out of the warehouse. I have a few (size 4) and I don't even want to use them!! They are so.... cute! The ones I did get were from an Osco. I am at the border of Niles in Chicago. Maybe we can start a petition! No offense to Simba but Lion King isn't even the "it" Disney character right now.
By the way...I don't like "baby" Mickey either. I love that it is regular Mickey!!!!!
I want more!!!!

I am glad that I am not the only one who buys huggies b/c of Disney, well now I have to anyway b/c my two dd's are allergic to pampers. I can't find the mickey ones anymroe either We currently use the supremes and I love the new Pooh Designs but I miss micky but my oldest dd likes simba too.

Anyways I am glad I am not alone!
