Mickey,How About Some AC On These Buses!

Sometimes they're waaaay to cold. I usually sit in the back over the engine, lol. A happy medium would be nice. I think temp control seems to be up to the driver, and what temp he's comfy with.

They were freezing when I went in mid-June 2016. Except the MK bus first thing in the morning but I think that's because of all the bodies on that one - it was packed full.

We just got back, and had to ride on several buses that were fanning warm air instead of a/c! Then there were a couple that were freezing (we discovered the "heated seats" in the back, which helped a bit). They definitely need a happy medium!

We were there in late June and rode the buses at least 4 times a day. Never had one that was warm. Had a few that were too chilly for me, but still probably acceptable by most people's standards. I try not to sit in the back row of the bus unless those are the only seats left. That is definitely the hot spot on the bus. I think that area can easily be 20 degrees hotter than just a few feet away.

I'd LOVE to get on a bus that wasn't like a meat locker. I'm miserable on those things. 60 degrees is just too dang cold!

I hate being cold, but on a packed bus I'd prefer a bit too cool over not cool enough.

Note to self, sit in the back of the bus from now on. I'm always freezing so no AC would be great for me. I live in Georgia and right now its 98 and I don't run the AC in my car, just open the sun/moon roof and roll down the windows. I'm sitting at my desk with a space heater running and a sweater on right now.

We were there over the 4th and every bus was freezing..! The monorail was hit or miss though - sometimes it was HOT and other times we could tell it was on, just not working well.... :faint:

Really? Our buses have been kicking AC all week. Once or twice it was actually so cold I wished they would turn it down!

Oh my gosh I don't know how you can survive in GA without your AC on! I live in GA too and with the heat index in the triple digits I don't leave my house if I can help it, right now the AC went out in our car yesterday and it's going in the shop tomorrow I can't even think of getting into that car with no air its so stifling hot. We are usually still running our AC in the house and cars in the fall and early winter because the winters have been really mild lately, but the summers are exceptionally hot.

However, last time I was at Disney World last year the buses were comfortable to cold for me, but I'd rather be freezing cold than sweating, so I'll take a cold bus over a warm one. If the buses are to cold, which they were sometimes, I just put on a jacket which I usually always carried with me anyway. If the buses are to hot this year that's going to suck, but I'll be sure to stick a fan in my bag in case I need it. Honestly, there probably isn't a happy medium for the buses...
