Does anyone no the procedure (if possible) for having a Mickey ears hat (with personalized name) waiting in your room upon arrival? We're staying at the GF in 3 weeks.
Here is the number for WDW Merchandising, 407-363-6200. You could try them first. I understand that the products you purchase would be waiting for you at the GF gift shop.
Otherwise, you can use a park shopping service like Gifts of a Lifetime. They will have someone go to the shop, purchase the ears, have them engraved and they'll be waiting for you at check-in. Are you staying concierge? If so, this is something that your pre-planning staff can take care of for you. I believe they are the only ones that will set up the surprise in your room. The rest of the options would either be front desk or gift shop pick up.

I'm not entirely sure how feasible it is but Disney does almost anything to accomodate people. Try their toll free number 1-800-828-0228 and ask a CM to be connected to the Grand Floridian customer service desk. I'm sure they can get you started on arranging this. I'm having some odd things like specialized food and gift baskets delivered to our room as well but were at the AKL otherwise I'd give you those direct numbers.
