I have a favor/question for all of you. I'm getting married in September and for our honeymoon we're going to DW for a few days before of Disney Cruise. We wanted to wear the bride and groom mickey ears but my fiance hates the new ones they have at DW. I was wondering of any of you know where to get the old ones, the top hat one with the ears. Or if anyone has one they don't want anymore I would be glad to buy them from you. Thank you so much!

You could also make your own with a top hat and the ears from the classic mickey hat. That's what I'm planning on doing.

We plan on making our own as well - only my DF has asked for a fedora instead of a top hat. The fedora just arrived, waiting on the classic hat to come in the mail.

I'll be sure to post pics in my PJ for everyone to see when it's finished!

You should ask your DF if he wants a top hat, or if there is something else that might fit his style. There have been some really cute groom baseball hats that brides before us have made as well.

Good luck!

Just a little suggestion. The top hats run VERY small. If your fiance has not tried it on yet, I definitely would not spend the money on it! (since they are so limited, it will not be cheap). I bought one and was so excited to get it, and then it didn't fit my fiance. And I don't think his head is large :confused3 I ended up having to sell it.
You may end up better by just making your own, that way it'll be cheaper and guaranteed to fit :thumbsup2

I love the fedora idea!!! PLEASE post a pic!

The only place I've seen you can get them is eBay. I see them pop up about once a week.

Yeah I've been looking there, thanks! I'm going to keep trying!

I never thought of that, it's such a great idea! Thanks!

That's a great idea! He would definitely love a fedora better even than the top hat I think! I'm definitely thinking this might be a better idea! Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up! I may end up making my own now that I got the idea from all of you wonderful amazing people!

I'm just so excited he's agreed to wear one at all! He's not a very outgoing person and doesn't like to draw attention to himself so I'm so glad he's going to wear it! He might even be more comfortable if we make one with a fedora!

Thank you everyone sooo much!

The good news is the mickey cap arrived and I instantly hacked into it to get the ears off. I'm now staring at it trying to figure out the best way to get them attached to the fedora to not only keep the shape, but make sure the ears don't look wonky ;)

I'll keep everyone posted - and I'll try to document each step to do a how to!

That would be great! Thanks! I'm excited to see the final product!
