So my mom & bro are leaving the ONT area early tomorrow morning. They will park at the M&F structure and take the tram to the parks. My mom's foot is broken, she can walk *hobble* ~ she was not able to rent a wheel chair today, she'll rent one tomorrow from DLR. Will my brother be able to drop her off close to the tram and go back and park the car or will she have to walk some distance? Where will the tram drop them off? How much does a wheelchair rental cost? They really planned this poorly, they could be staying at the HoJo, $59 ent rate is available tonight.

Sorry your mom couldn't get a wheelchair. There is no drop off for the tram but when you get to the parking structure ask if you can park in Chip and Dale or Pinocchio. Both lots are on ground level. C&D is partly handicapped and part not. Pinocchio is outside the structure and would be the closest to the trams. Explain to the CM why you are asking. Tell them to ask nicely.

Here's the rate, per allearsnet.com
Wheelchairs - Limited numbers of wheelchairs are available for rent to guests with disabilities at the Stroller Shop on the right just inside the Main Entrance. The rental fee is $10 per day plus a $20 deposit, which is refunded when the wheelchair is returned. Electric Convenience Vehicles can be (subject to availability) rented at the Stroller Shop also ($35+$20 deposit). Guests must be at least 18 to operate an ECV. You may park-hop with wheelchairs and ECVs but may not take the outside of the Security perimeter. During busier times of year, wheelchair/ECV rental for both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure is located in a temporary tent set up in the esplanade between the two parks.

This information is out of date as far as location goes. DCA has a permanent stroller/wheelchair rental located on the right as you walk in. I think the cost may be more now as well.

The only question I can answer is....

From M&F, the tram drops you off in the middle of DTD.
It drops you off at World of Disney and before the Italian restaurant so it is at the east end and begining of DTD.

I would loan you my spare wheelchair for free but unfortunately I cannot find anyone to fix the wheel on her chair. If someone knows a person who can replace wheelchair wheels contact me via pm. Until that is fixed I am grounded here at home, lol.

I didn't see this suggested, but there is also an official "drop-off" location for the park off Harbor at Disney Way - right by the big Disneyland sign.

This is the designated spot where parents can park and drop off or pick up their pre-teens and such that are going to the park by themselves. We've used this, in the past, to have one of us take our dog to the kennel, since he was scared of the tram.

It is just past where the tram from the Timon and Pumbaa lots and the tour buses drop their passengers, so it is about the same distance from the main entrance as where the Mickey and Friends Tram drops folks off.

Since the wheelchair rental is on that side of the plaza, it may even be a shorter walk.
