Mickey Ears

I just got hooked on this game this weekend and really want some Mickey ears... How do I get them if I'm not going to Disneyland for months & months? And if I understand it right you can only get them from inside the park?? How is that?

There are currently two ears "available" to the players.

1. Black Mickey Ears
-You get this when you create a Character in the Park.

2. Gold Mickey Ears
-You get this when you buy Gold Ears are certain shops in the Park. Whether or not you can still get these is unknown (or known by people smarter than me ).


So, the only way is to get them at the Park. Or trade. (this is how I got mine)

Well then darn I guess no ears for me unless I find someone to trade me for them!! No Golden Mickey ears anymore and I already have a character so don't need to create a new one!

At WDW you do not have to buy gold Mickey ears. You just have to make a purchase at the hat shop on Main Street. They still had plenty of the cards when we got ours. I have a couple of extra golden ears, but they are now promised to someone else so I can't trade them. We're going back this weekend and I'll see if they have any more. Mickey ears must be popular. I have both sets and everywhere I went in VMK today people were trying to trade for them. Even after I said "No thank you" they were still trying to get me to trade them.

And the black mickey ears are not tradable (at least, i was not able to transfer it between my characters).

Yes I am at the DLR right now and they are not handing out the gold ear cards anymore. They do have gold ears(not for VMK) in the World of Disney but the rack is very limited.
