Mickey ears-Polynesian

Is there any shop at or near the Polynesian to purchase some Mickey Ears to wear at the parks? As crazy as it sounds, this is one of the first things I want to do when we get there. (That might explain my screen name) Thanks!

I don't remember seeing "ears" in the hotel shop, but I could be wrong. Anyone know? Of course, you can alway pick them up as soon as you get to Magic Kingdom.....

I don't think you can get the ears outside of the park, but there is always Gifts of a Lifetime. You can order them ahead and they will have them waiting for you in your room at checkin!

The shop on the upper level of the Grand Ceremonial house (near where you catch the monorail - oppisite side from Kona Cafe) sells Mickey Ears. I know this since on our trip last Spetember, DD just HAD to have the pink ones. We tried to tell her they would be in MK, but you know the story. My Mom got them for her. Of course, once we were in MK she wanted her name on them. So we just walked into a shop, said we had purchased them at the Polynesian and could they please put her name on them. They did it. They never asked for a receipt, but we had it with us since we had purchased the hat and then headed off to MK.

I believe you have to get the monogramed ones in the park.

Thank you everyone for your replies! I could just picture DH now if I had to run around looking for them in the wrong places! He thinks I'm crazy enough wanting to wear them!

You can buy Mickey Ears outside of the Magic Kingdom and also have them monogramed in Downtown Disney. My Sister in law bought some ears on our last trip at the World of Disney and they had her take them to the Christmas store to be monogrammed. They did charge her for the monogramming. We asked in the MK and they also said that the monogramming had a charge involved. I remember the day when they would monogram them for free. Oh well.

Thanks sgtdisney! Luckily, I think I can settle for "non-monogrammed" ears. As long as I have those two big black ears on my head to walk around the park with, I'll be very happy
