A couple of years ago DH went to MVMCP when he was randomly in Orlando for an evening and got me a Mickey ears Christmas hat. Last year, one of the ears started coming loose. It's very obviously a defect in the sewing (seaming issues in how the ear was attached), not from wear and tear. I know in the past, Disney has replaced items at the park without requesting a receipt, even if the item is a few years old. It's no big, the hat still looks good once it's on me, but it will be a pain to try and hand sew back together (which I have to do before the seaming turns into wear and tear), but anyone had any luck replacing items in like manner recently (will be there next week) or do I need to get out my quilting supplies to fix it? (Asking mostly because don't want to get my quilting supplies down.)
