Mickey can call and wish DN a good trip?

I read on another trip report that "Mickey" called and wished their child a good trip.

Id this a service Disney offers? How?

I think this is called Disney Enchanted Calls.

There is a website and you can "book" a phone call on-line. We did this for DD dance recital two years ago. We had Belle call DD to tell her congratulations and that her parents were proud of her.

It is a pre-record voice, but they plug in your child's name and you choose among different call topics (holidays, birthdays, conratulations, etc.). It's really pretty cute.

I never did get the free call-they are suppose to send an email to you and then you give the details.

A word of warning though. I placed my order, it said there was a problem with my info, to reenter it, I did and got double charged. I sent an email and have faith it will be straightened out. I only need one call to my DD on that date at that time, you know??

Still, all in all an awesome thing. I can't wait to see her face when Mickey calls!

I still am waiting for a reply to my question-where is my e-mail that was suppose to arrive.

I ordered it in April for my niece's birthday in May. I sent an e-mail right after clicking on it asking where do I fill out the details (there wasn't anything there when I clicked). I received an e-mail saying that I would receive an e-mail and to fill out the details of the call when I received it. I replied back a few weeks later as I never received an e-mail about the call, and got another e-mail saying they would look into it. I did get one more e-mail only because I replied that I still haven't heard anything. That was at the beginning of June.

I think the whole thing is a joke, I would love to hear that someone actually received their free phone call.

I ordered 4 calls using my Disney Rewards points - I used 2 for the morning of our trip - 1 Mickey for DS and Snow White for DD. Filled in all the info right then, and got confirmation email, and then reminder emails the day before. Since they came as a 4 pack, and you had to do all at once, I ordered 1 for a friend & fellow Tigger fan for her bday(as we would be in WDW on that day), and then 1 for my daughter's Kindergarten Grad.(which was still 9 mo. away at the time). The nice thing was you could call to alter them if you needed to change day/time, which I did when the grad. day was different then I had planned. They all came through as expected, and the kids really beamed. In fact, when my DD5got her grad. call, my DS9 was asking was he getting a call, too? I would do it again for this trip, but we are surprising them by "driving to Myrtle Beach"(which we will go to on way back), but stopping off to jump on the Auto train! Can't wait to see the confused looks on their faces, and see how long till they figure out where we're headed!

My DD5 gets calls from Mickey (and others) all the time - DH is pretty good at voices, and he goes upstairs and calls from his cell phone. She hasn't caught on yet...

I booked the 4 pack using my Disney rewards points. Mickey called and told my son happy b.day and a few days later Pooh called to encourage him on learning to ride his bike. He was so excited about those two I'm sure he will go crazy when Mickey calls the morning we leave, but it's not specific to a Disney trip, just says going on a vacation but ends with see ya real soon.

We got a call using Coke Reward points. There were several choices of characters and messages (have a good trip, birthday, etc). I'm not sure if it is still one of the reward options since they seem to have drastically cut back on what is available.
