For years, I have seen all kinds of cute Mickey and/or Minnie bathroom stuff- towels, trash can, etc. BUT- we weren't ready to finish the basement. We are in the process of it now and I need to pick out the bathroom stuff so I can choose the paint color. Of course, I can't find anything anywhere!!! Any ideas?
I saw the Mickey stuff on the disney shopping website, but it's all black and white - I wouldn't know what to paint the walls. On the shopping outlet site, they have some towels, but nothing to go with them (trashcan, toothbrush holder, etc.)

My DDs and I went out today to Target, WalMart and Sears. Nothing!:sad1: I'm so bummed!

They have a bunch of items.

Oops! just saw you looked there already. Keep checking back, they change the designs every quarter.

We did the classic black, yellow, white, and red Mickeys in the bathroom.

-We were able to find a cute Mickey border and painted the walls a just-barely-off-white. Border came through Disney Store online.
-Towels are yellow and red stock from whatever store with some of the Mickey head accents.
- Bathroom rugs are all black. Two are standard stock and one is a black Mickey head. Mickey head rug came from the Home Store in DTD.
- We have a white Mickey shelf up displaying the old packaging of the hotel shampoos/soaps that were in the same colors. We added two hand-towels to the display and topped it off with Basin's Mickey Head soap. Shelf came from the online store, shampoos were collected over time, hand towels were store bought, Basin is at DTD
- Large Mickey clock from Disney Store online
- A few framed ride posters from the Art Store at DTD; framed professionally at home and they pick up the right colors
- The Mickey heads in "our" colors cup, soap dispenser, and soap holder all from the store at DTD.
- We no longer have a shower in the bathroom (moved), but we did have the matching shower curtain, as well, which was from the store at DTD
- We have towels that we use that have Mickey on them but aren't exact for special occassions or when we have people over. Otherwise, we don't want them ruined and just use the store bought and replaceable ones in red, yellow, black, and white.

I can't help you on paint - we're not allowed to paint so I just have beige walls that clash horribly with my stuff. :rotfl: My stuff is also all black and white - I bought the bathroom accessories at the home shop that used to be in DTD. Then I brightened it all up with red, black and yellow accessories.

Like, I have a white wall shelf with the Mickey icon, with red cups and jars from Bed Bath and Beyond, as well as some of the B&W Mickey accessories on it. Hanging from its towel bar is a red hand towel, a yellow hand towel and two black washclothes, from Target. (The red and yellow are really close to Mickey colors!) On the floor, I have a white Mickey icon rug and two rugs from IKEA, black and red.

ETA: We have a red shower curtain from Walmart. And red and yellow Mickey soaps from the home store in DTD. And we hung a sketch drawing of Pongo that I won on a cruise (b&w) and another picture of Mickey and Minnie. And we have two white hand towels from that home store, with red/black/yellow plaid and Mickey on the bottom.

If I could, I'd get this sink:

And these drawer pulls:

But they'll have to wait until I own a house!

We got everything we needed to decorate my GS's bathroom from eBay. I also purchased some items (cup, plate for soaps, and the soaps themselves) in DTD this past November.

I just redid our main bath in Mickey. I painted the walls gray. Its a nice compliment to the black and white, and I can add just about any color as an accent.

Thank you all for the ideas. It sounds like I may need to go to the Disney Store in NY. Hmmmmmmm....

I hadn't thought of gray for the walls. That's a good idea, too.

I'll let you know what we end up doing.
