Can I bring a balloon from the parks on the ship with me? We are only going to be at MK the day before our cruise. Don't want to buy it if we only have it one day

Many years ago we learned the hard way it is not allowed. We showed up at the terminal with a Disney balloon and were told immediately at the door that balloons are not permitted. It was a Mylar balloon so we just pocked a small hole in it to deflate it and fold it up. Boy did our DS cry

it has to do with safety and flamability issues. as well as sea life safety. Actually in California they can't even sell mylar balloons at the park because the sea life in the pacific ocean can choke on the mylar and it doesn't decompose like the plastic rings on the cans or bottles.
