Mickey and the Magical Map

I am bummed to see there are no shows while we are there. We're going from a Tuesday to a Thursday. We did mid-week on our last trip too and also didn't get to see this. Is it only a Friday-Monday attraction? Or are we just having bad luck with our trip timing?

Is Storytelling at Royal Theater a good alternative to this? I think our toddler-age girls would enjoy seeing a performance.

The Royal Theater shows are really fun, and this is from an adult with no kids. The kids do have a special seating area on the floor up front and seem to have a great time up there and a good view since they don't have to worry about people in front of them. The theater is quite small so you will still be able to keep an eye on your little one. The characters performing have a good knack of keeping the story moving with humor for all. Unless it has changed the Beauty and the Beast ones are the first shows of the day and Tangled are the last ones, but there should be a sign out front with times. I was suggest catching both.

I think if you have toddlers (especially girls) the Storytelling shows are a better choice. It is a little shorter, they get to sit up close, more jokes and interaction.

You’re correct that Mickey and the Magical Map doesn’t show mid-week. It’s been that way for years.

The storytelling shows are fun. Very different from MMM, but it’s worth going to one!

It is scheduled to perform mid-week during Thanksgiving week, when I will be there, so I guess they run mid-week shows only during busy weeks.

My DD loves the princess plays. They alternate between Rapunzel and Belle with one character in the morning and one in the afternoon. She’s loved them since she was little and they are still fun to watch for parents. Great choice for little ones.
