Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway Coaster at HS

The posted opening date is March 4th. How firm is this date? Any chance of it getting pushed back? Any idea what the fastpass/standby/boarding pass situation will be?

We have a reservation booked for mid-March and want to know if I can tell my 3 year old that the ride will be open.

I wouldn't tell the kiddo until the day you get there or at least until it actually opens. I know how fixated kids can get and crushed if that one thing doesn't happen.

Couple of thoughts: one, I don't think I'd call it a "coaster". At least, that hasn't been my impression from everything I've seen. Second, if recent history holds up, Disney will have the ride online for several months and then one day Fast Passes will just pop up on the system.

nope - not a coaster in anyway, shape or form. Cars (sorta like the old movie ride but much smaller) travel though scenes of Mickey and pals. Very low key
