Mickey’s Dreamers: DLP 2006 PART 3

[MICKEY'S DREAMERS]

CAST: I (Laura) and DGH (Disney Grumpy Husband)
IN: Jan 2nd Newport Bay Club
OUT: Jan 6th

MONDAY 2nd of January (First night at DLP)

It’s time to leave the park now. While approaching the exit we saw Mickey waving at the guests … a nice way to finish a short visit to the park !!!!!!!!!!

We had already checked the menu of the two restaurants at Newport bay. Cape Cod is now a 25 Euro all-you-can-eat buffet. We didn’t had a decent meal all day long, so we made a reservation for 21.00.
What a buffet !

We got our table and DGH started to eat … to eat… to eat …
He got:
* a green soup (peas?)
* an appetizer with shrimps, salad, pickles, olives, cabbage, herrings, ham and may be something more
* pasta with mushrooms
* pizza
* beef with onions and potatoes
* chocolate crepes
* apple pie
* panettone (Italian Christmas bread)
and some fruit salad … just to refresh his mouth

I got … something less …

“Not so bad !” grumped DGH at the end of the dinner.

Yay!!!! I've been looking forward to another trippie Laura!!! I thought it was lovely to see Mickey waving goodbye at the end of the day too. That buffet looks wonderful!!! Please write more soon!!

Isn't funny how things come along in waves - Thats the second time today I've read a good report of Cape Cod!! The photos make it look absolutely delicious, and it must have been good because unless I'm mistaken DGH didn't grump at all in this report - too busy eating I suspect .

That's true!!! But under the circumstances it's probably very lucky we weren't sitting in the middle of the Cape Cod restaurant!!!

This is an embarassing question from someone who has been to DLP 8 times... but where exactly is Cape Cod? I just can't picture it!!!
