I'm very new at this, but DIS is such a friendly place I figured I would be able to keep my journal, and recieve tips if I needed them. I have tried to lose weight several times before and it never happened. I'm sure I was doing something wrong with what I was eating. I know I was exercising enough, but what I eat is my major problem. So hopefully with signing up for some challenges I can keep up my motivation and actually lose some weight this time. I will try to update daily but we will see what happens. 
So far today I have eaten a bowl of cereal and a piece of wheat toast. I don't know if that is good or not.. ??
But I guess it could have been worse. I just came back from a bike ride with my dad. We rode around 5 miles and I defintely am out of shape. It wasn't as hard as it was when we use to ride in June, but I have to make it an everyday occurance. I use to walk or ride my bike atleast 4-5 times a week in May & June, but I saw no change in my weight, so I kinda gave up. But I'm not going to let it happen this time.
I hope this is okay for a first post
and I will update as much as I can.
