Michael's -- one coupon per customer per day

maybe i'm slow...but i just had this happen today. what irritates me is there is a bold print sign on the entrance door that Michael's accepts competitor coupons....but no mention of only one coupon per person per day. It makes more sense to me to limit to one competitor coupon. what's the point of taking competitor coupons if they'll only take one?

back to Joann's I went and used 4 coupons at once. HA!

One time M gave my mother and I a hard time because we each had coupons. They felt because we were together we could only use one coupon. Um, no, two people, two orders, two coupons.

The people at my Michael's are nice. They let me split up my order so I can use multiple coupons, haha.

i think the one i went to used to do that, the clerk mentioned "corporate cracking down on them"

the other thing i noticed...a crop a dile was $35 there and $30 at Archivers. i always think of Archiver's as being expensive and yet this? seems like Michael's is jacking the price up of coupon-frequent items maybe?

I use my kids to help me! They each get a coupon to use for me when we are at Michael's and/or ACM. No one has objected to that, but they definitely won't let me use more than one coupon myself at either place.....P

Hey...glad you're back! Did you guys have a great trip?

I do this every once in a while, too. Drag the kids and/or DH along to use more coupons (especially when I *need* both the corner and edge "Around the Page" Maaaaaaatha punches!). Most times it's been fine, but once in awhile, we get the evil death stares - or worse - from the ACM or Mike's cashiers.

Why do they act like it's coming out of their own pockets? Or, is every M's employee given more money for collecting as few coupons in a day as possible? Kind of a reverse commission?

I just used 3 coupons in one transaction! I used my martha 25% off, a 50% acm and a 40% m's. She gave me the evil eye but she took them!!

I have had that happen to me before too. I asked her to check with the mgr to make sure that they wanted me to leave without buying anything or would they just take the two coupons. The mgr told me that they can only take one coupon & I said well, that's not entirely true. It seems you can take one or you can take none. & then i left my stuff on the counter & walked out.

I am a pretty easy-going person, but stuff like that is sooo annoying!!!

We had a GREAT time! I think we are just recovered now from the heat and lack of sleep! I wouldn't have believed that you could see so much of Disney in under four full days! We definitely saw everything we had planned to see and much more. We made the best of the EMH, saw every parade, fireworks, and show that we had planned, and rode everything we wanted to ride numerous times. Thanks for asking. I'll try to post pictures one day soon!......P
