I just signed up because it looks fun :) Has anyone taken this? If so how did you find it?

My DD (probably 11 at the time) and I took the class a couple of years ago. We had a fun with the class. We can still do some fun things, just not very often.

Again - we had a great time, but now I REALLY appreciate those who decorate cakes for a living.;)

I have no regrets on buying the stuff. I would really recommend buying the "bigger" kit right from the start, one of the ones that comes in a "tool" box. I hope that makes sense. One 40% off coupon and it really wasn't that expensive.

For my DD and I - it was just a fun thing to do.

I took all 3 levels of classes. It was fun. I still do it occasionally but we aren't big cake eaters.

I took the class several years ago with a friend. We had to bake a cake once a week for the class. I enjoyed it and thought about taking the 2nd class, but it is so time consuming. I made my parents an anniversary cake and did the leaves and roses. I mostly use the star tip and do character cakes for my kids.

I am an instructor. It is really a great class. You learn the Wilton Method. I agree that if you are going to do all of the courses then get the large tool box to start with, as it will save you money in the end. PM me if you have any questions, I hope you have fun!
