Deets On Spike Lee's Michael Jackson Movie
Despite being disturbed after the passing of Michael Jackson, director Spike Lee is still trudging on with his film Brooklyn Loves You, Michael Jackson.
Samuel L. Jackson, who will mostly be the star, spoke about the upcoming film at a press conference saying Spike:
"was bent out of shape about Michael Jackson's death for a long time. (He was) depressed. I guess the depression set him into writing that story. He was disturbed by the death."
The film will be about people in Brooklyn who want to throw a concert for the King of Pop, which is what Spike did back in August for MJ's birthday.
Sam explained "the new gentrified people that live in the neighborhood (who) are worried about the kind of element that might be coming into the neighborhood."
Inneresting.
No word on when the film will be hitting the big screen, but we're sure there will be a lot of hype around it when the time comes.
