I think Michael Jackson is an absolute disgrace and the contemptuous way in which he treated the American Justice system stinks - would anyone else turn up to court in their pyjamas? He made a mockery of the whole system that ran around for him and catered to his every whim - would Joe Bloggs have had the same preferential treatment or would they have been held in contempt of Court? As for the decision, well, if you have money in America you can buy your own justice.
The footage of crowds celebrating outside was also despicable as well, what were they celebrating? That a child has had their world shattered or that someone who admits to sleeping with children is free to carry on unsupervised?
I'm just glad that the whole episode is over and that Jackson can get back to living on past glories, as irrelevent as he is on the music scene nowadays, the thought of him touring on the back of all this publicity doesn't sit right somehow.
