James' Dad was a flavor chemist. He left Coke when they moved to Atlanta. I think he worked for Warner Lambert after that.
My dad started as a delivery truck driver. He worked him up to branch manager, then district manager, and then Sales Director for various regions. He could have been at the Corporate offices of Dr Pepper/7-up as an executive if he'd been willing to move to the Dallas area. At the time (only a few years away from retirement) they decided to stay where they were.

Then again, maybe I hate you for having such better seats
Mom and Iwere about half way back. My dad nearly always could get comp tickets if he wanted them (perk of being a DJ--or at least it used to be) so he did not jump to buy on day one and we couldn't get the best seats. It was still a great show (windy night though, eh?)
Dr. Pepper is even carried over here now
