Apparently, Michael's dematology doc (whom Debbie Rowe worked for), is the daddy. Debbie was not the egg donor, just the surrogate. AND....Michael never formally adopted the kids.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out now!

Just what they need to be going through on top of everything else... :(

Well, even though we all knew he wasnt the biological father - or at least some of us did - adopting them makes no difference. I know a little bit about egg donation and sperm donation and there are lots of legal papers that have to be signed saying that you - the donor - have no rights to these children and there is no need for the parents to have to adopt them. We have a baby born in our family through a donor and his parents did not have to adopt him.

OP, can you link your articles. I read something like that over the weekend and with ALL the articles on the internet about MJ, I cannot find the ones I was reading....ugh. Anyway, I did read that as well (somewhere)! MJ was NOT the father. I had just finished watching that (disturbing) 2003 MJ interview with Martin Bashir...where MJ states he was married to Debbie for 3 years and these were their kids. Now all these revelations coming out that they are not MJ's! Also in that interview he states that he had a relationship with Blanket's Mother and that she was black....Martin said to MJ, "but MJ, I have seen Blanket and he does not look black".... MJ said yes, he was. Now when you see glimpses of Blanket in photos, he does not look black. Kinda sad, that whole interview...

MJ was DEFINITELY a musical genuis but privately he had allot of issues.

Those poor kids. They seemingly belong to no one at this point. How sad. And jmho, to place them with MJ's parents is like putting a lamb in a lion's den. Isn't Joe Jackson the real cause of MJ's insane lifestyle?

I saw that interview last night as well. One of the (many) things that bothered me was that MJ was able to look Bashir right in the eye, over and over again, and bold-face lie to him. About the kids, plastic surgery, etc. He was a very mentally ill man.

In that same interview, he insisted that the only plastic surgery he had was 2 nose jobs! He got mad when Martin Bashir kept asking him about his face, he kept insisting 2 nose jobs only!

He also talked about the birth of his daughter with Debbie Rowe, he grabbed the baby right after delivery and took it home without the baby even being cleaned! He said the doctors were fine with it!

Another segment he was forcing a bottle on the 3rd baby while covering his face with a veil.

It was very, very disturbing.

I'm not an attorney, but I believe the children are immediately, legally his because they were born to his 'wife', no matter who the biological parents were. My guess (if this is true) is that this was the way they were able to get around the surrogate/adoption paperwork.

That was extremely disturbing. AND following that incident with dangling Blanket over the balcony and as Martin is asking MJ questions he is answering with this MAD GLARE while staring at the camera. Very sad. Very sad.

by looking at those children, there is no way MJ was the bio dad. Blanket maybe, but not Prince & Paris. But if he was married to Debbie, that makes MJ the legal father

Agreed.

If my wife has a baby, I'm the legal father.

(Why is most of this thread off topic?)

In a way, I wish the state of California could step in and remove those kids from the entire Jackson clan. I'm not even sure that's a possibility, but it would sure give those kids a fighting chance at some sort of a normal life. God knows they will need all the help they can get.

Blanket was probably not his either. MJ so loathed himself because he looked like his father that he wouldn't want any of his children to resemble him or his father. :(

At least he had the sense to write a will years ago. This way Joe Jackson can't petition the court as next of kin, for the rights to the estate - if that would have even been legally possible, if all 3 children are not ruled as his.

who cares if he was the real father or not he raised them.... so that makes him the real father!

I used to be a Legal Assistant and in most states any child born to legally married is presumed to be their child and in no need of adoption unless special papers were filed prior to birth of the older two (which I doubt).

This whole situation gets stranger and stranger and I believe that Michael was very mentally disturbed in many areas of his life, mainly due to his father is my belief.

The person that cares is the one who would have access to the money in the estate. MJ had massive amounts of debt when he dies, estimated into the hundred millions. Since his death, his cds, old record albums, songs etc. have been selling out and playing non-stop. It is estimated that his upcoming royalties for the sales & continuous playing of his song catalogue can wipe out his debt and create a fortune for his estate.

Since those children are named as his heirs, the money follows the children. Whoever gets to care for the children, whether by petitoning the court that they are the "rightful parents," will be sitting pretty on easy street, wallowing in the children's money. The caretakers need to keep the children living in the lifestyle they were accustomed to. So the caretakers get to live the high life, too.
