We publish some of his books and he's here to meet those of us in the various other aspects of the publishing world.

The latest, The Narrows. I haven't read it yet. But we all got a free copy and could have him sign it. Unfortunately, the line was really long (every employee in the building wants to meet him!) and I have some things that required I get them done before noon. So I had to leave. But I saw him and heard him talking. He seems like a really, really nice guy. He was taking as much time with people as they wanted.

I like his books. I'll see if I can find his new one at the librayr today.

Good to know he's a decent person.

A few people in my dept. were amongst the first in the line. They said he was spending at least 5 minutes with each person, answering all their questions and taking pictures with people. He also didn't mind signing more than one book or signing books for multiple people. Everyone was struck by how nice he was!

I wish I could have stayed long enough to meet him! Dumb deadlines!
