Wow, it's less than 5 months away! it's so exciting!

We have loads planned already. We got the Yacht Club Gazebo on 10/10/10 at 2:30pm, which was our first choice

We are staying at WL for 2 weeks as well, with our little son, who will be nearly 4. It is our first trip to WDW, but I have always wanted to go, and we wanted to take DS, so we thought it would bea perfect place to have our wedding that was also a celebration of our family.

We have just ordered our wedding rings, (sadly, mine had to go back as it was too big, but they should both be ready in a month)

I HAD a lovely wedding dress (chocolate and forest) but it is going to be WAY too big to even be altered by the time the wedding comes around (my diet is SO much more successful than I imagined) so I am a bit anxious now that I need another one!

We have gifts for our lovely wedding party - MoH is getting pearl earrings same colour as my dress (so lets hope I find a similar colour one) and BM is getting a swiss watch. Oh and DS is getting a tough, kid proof camera!

We are having the gold Mickey's delight cake in Marble with white chocloate mousse and yellow cake with raspberry mousse.

I am having the Island bouquet, with MoH version and buttonholes.

WE WERE going to have the grand I, but it was booked (seems everyone had the 10/10/10 idea - should have guessed that LOL) so, we are having dinner at Artist Point (there are only 17 of us, so seemed silly to book a private reception) and then going down to the beach to watch the electric water pageant, and the fireworks.

WE ALSO have 2 weeks worth of ADRS booked (2 days after the wwedding is my 35th birthday so we wanted to ake the whole holiday pretty awesome)

Hope you don't mind me asking but did you have to pay an additional amount to have your wedding on 10/10/10? I seem to remember someone saying that 'special dates' cost more! I am thinking of having mine on 01/11/11 and wasn't sure if this would cost more?

We booked it SO far in advance that we just paid the regular price. (we actually paid our deposit to TUI almost a YEAR before Disney could actually book the wedding - honestly, we knew NOTHING about disney weddings then!)

We DID end up in a lottery for the date and location as it was SO popular, which was stressful, and I THINK that people booking after the 8 months out may have to pay a premium, I'm not sure.

Your old dress sounds so interesting... Congrats on losing all the weight to not fit into it anymore! that's my goal too.. but mine isn't working out so well yet

My cousin is also getting married on 10/10/10 (but at home). It's a very popular day this year!

Thank you. My dress is lovely, I am really struggling to find something else I like as much.

We picked 10/10/10, purely so DF would be able to remember it! (it was that or my birthday which is 12th oct. But that's the same day as his Dad, who doesn't speak to us, so we were so happy to get 10/10/10!)
