After several years I got the elusive 999,999 a few times. My son got all 9's on his 14th birthday four years ago and I had to study the MIB tips over and over and ride it about 999,999 times before I could do it.
The tips have become DH's reading material for the airplane ride. They helped too. I eneded up reading them and there's no way I could remember it all, but the little I did remember got me a respectable 500,000.
My first time I got 16?,???....which, for the first time....okay. After riding a bunch of times for 2.5 days, my highest (and last) score was 467,900. I couldn't get out of the 300's till then...I was happy! (Beat DH's high score for the trip! ) Of course, we were with DBIL and he also got HIS highest score that time too....798,???. He was proud also! Take your tips cheat sheet with you, because a lot of it will make more sense once you actually ride the ride and see what the tip sheet says. That's what I did because I studied the tip sheet before we rode, and couldn't remember anything.....so, after riding a few times, I went back to the tip sheet and it made more sense. And, btw, if you use Express (FOTL), you will most likely be on the "left" track....very few times we went on the "right" track!
