MIB: The RED Button

When you get to the big bug, I keep pressing it at the turn to the bug if I need it, but I usually don't.

MIB999999 recommends: at the big bug, when you hear, "guess there's only one thing left to do...." when you hear that word "DO".....get on that button & keep pushing it till the display reads bonus.... rest of sentence is: "hit the red button"....

I usually press and hold the red button as soon as I see Agent J talking about the big bug, just before Zed starts talking. The only problem is that by pressing the button, it locks your gun. There are sensors on the big bug that can get you a lot of points if you keep shooting them. I've heard they were deactivated, though.

When did they deactivate, I use the same method as you and they still worked even with the button held down, thankfully holding the button is becoming more of a rarity for me these days though as I usually max out by then

DM is correct. The big bug does have sensors but they have not worked in quite some time. Just press and hold the red button when you see the Big bug. No need to even shoot your gun as it doesn't work after pushing the red button.
