DS, 14, was riding MIB on Sunday afternoon with two friends and two unknown adults. The car average was in the 600,000s. could it possibly have been MIB999999 and MsDisney (both of whom got 999999)?

He maxed out ten times this trip and has addicted a whole new bunch of kids. I think we rode the single line for three straight hours.

I rode yesterday and the car stopped in the track. The people in the front row stopped shooting, but the people (myself and a couple) in the back just kept shooting and watching out score go up. Heh, I was told to shoot Will Smith and I got points for it!

I'd love to get stuck in the main room of MIB just to find out what gives the highest points. Sometimes that room just doesn't seem to work for me.

We will be going to IOA for the first time at the end of June. Can you give me any MIB tips? Best I have ever done on Buzz Lightyear is "Space Ranger".

Also - do you think MIB will be too scary for a 5 y/o? I also have an 8 y/o daughter who will LOVE this ride (I hope!)

Here' s a link for you. But it really takes practice, practice, and more practice.

MIB tips

If the lines aren't too long, just ride your kids through without shooting so they can take a good look at everything. Then the next time through they can shoot. This way they can see how funny everything is and look for all the green eyes. I've seen many kids of different ages in this ride.

WOW! Thanks for the link, MIB Queen! It is fun to see how many people really get into this. I am going to secretly study all the tips and then impress dh and the kids with my shooting skill! hehehehe

I don't know if they were there or not. I know that they have been moving the past couple of weeks. Maybe they went over there to have a break from the boxes. Was the gentleman about 6.5' tall?

as many times as i have been on this ride (over 1000) i still enjoy just once in a while going thru without shooting. it is well laid out and all the things that move and flash are fun to watch.

Damo, great idea to have kids ride thru the first time just to see it all. :smooth:

MIB999999 were you at MIB on Sunday? My son said he rode with a man and woman who both maxed out.

Damo...
MIB and I both maxed out Sunday, but we weren't anywhere near Universal!

Gosh...I was extra groggy when I woke up Sunday...MIB, did you slip something into my drink and sneak off on me Sunday???
Surely there can't be another 999,999 woman in his life !?!?

Heehee...actually, it's nice to know there are others out there as obsessed as us! ;)

As RobertWalker said, we just moved into our house a couple of weeks ago, and we have been very busy trying to get setup and organized here! :bounce: Maybe one day we can afford to go to Mythos again!

Well Karen, glad to hear that the honeymoon is still on, no wonder it has taken you so long to unpack!!!

My son said that the couple in the back seat maxing out  were pretty strange. I guess nobody will admit to being there now.

I'm glad too!!! And we still have a honeymoon to look forward to someday! ;)

Yeah, it's tough to find the time and inclination to unpack what with all the laundry there is to do!

Actually, I'm lucky because I'm home all day (aside from the 2 hours I now spend on the road driving the kids to their old school for the last month of school!) so I can unpack and organize by day. Of course, MIB has to do things like lie plywood in our attic (storage, we need storage space!) and put up fans and blinds when he gets home at night. We did prioritize the blinds and fans...obviously we don't want to frighten the new neighbors  and also, it gets HOT in here! LOL

Anywho...I'm the first to admit that we are strange...but it still wasn't us! ;)

Karen :smooth:
