With the technology used in Toy Story Mania shoot em ups could have better response usibg the blasters. I felt like I was shooting without any pay off & felt unfulfilled. I guess most attractions will be challenged in terms of keeping up with the times. Even the novelty of Disney's animatronics seems to be fading with exception of Spaceship Earth with Hall of Presidents in second.

Still one of my favourites at USF. I still feel a sense of accomplishment getting 999,999. I've heard that it is going to get a bit of a spruce up before Diagon Alley opens.

I bet that will happen after this summer.

The trouble is you get points for hitting the sensors, not the aliens. Many of the biggest close up aliens give you no points at all. Aim for aliens on the second story in each area. The sensors in the city block windows are actually on the window sills. Glowing eyes in the bushes, posters and parking meter are big points.

A refresh and new additions would be nice. MIB is my favorite dark ride.

We've never gotten anywhere near that, but my whole family cheered when we finally got the suit on our 5th try when we were down there a few weeks ago.

I don't think there's any way you could refurb MIB to use TSM technology. You'd have to rebuild the entire ride from the ground up.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it the way it is. It could use with some new paint and a general spruce up, but it is a fantastic ride. You just have to know what you are doing and aim for targets just as you would in the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters rides at WDW and DL.

My kids still think it's the best ride at USO, and I had a blast when we did it last year.

Sorry for sour grapes. I guess I was influenced by my group. They loved TSM & it was the first shooting dark ride they went on so I guess that's what they were comparing other rides to...I didnt mind when I was on MIB 3 years ago. But with the new attractions I'm excited for next generation rides & how technology will evolve in their development

i always look forward to doing MIB multiply times.....

guess i didn't notice it needed a freshing up paint job.
i basically only look for the sensors in order to get more points while i am doing that ride.

it's like an addiction for me.
do the ride, not happy with my score.

go back and repeat ride.

times 5................:rolleyes1

Sounds like us!

We do the same thing when we are there for a longer stay.

I'm always happy with my score. I aim for the sensors and hit enough to satisfy me. Hopefully someday I'll get that elusive top score.

Does it need sprucing up? I guess that I should pay more attention.

In terms of update in the age of CGI & special effects perhaps our crew had high standards....or they're just bitter coz their score wasnt as high as they expected LOL Also the fact that it was raining put a dampernon some people's moods. But overall concept is still creative :)
