MiaSRN62 and other Vistana experts...

Hi - we just booked a week through my inlaw's timeshare at the Vistana Resort in October ! My FIL got a confirmation through Interval for room #1863 - where is this located? I can't seem to find a map of any kind. Do you know what building/floor/view? And how final is this?

OK, I found out it's Lakes section. I know it's not necessarily a guarantee, and that it can change. I'm now thinking of what I should request on my Diamond Lane checkin. What are the pros/cons of Lakes vs. Cascades? Let me just preface that with I know they're both wonderful, and I'll be lucky to have either I looked at MiaSRN62's pictures (thanks), and I think I like the decor of the Cascades better, whereas the Lakes appeals to me more in other aspects (quieter, larger rooms).

Any suggestions? Also, I remember reading about an alternative way to get out of the resort through the back roads? How would that work? We'll be going to Disney every day.

See resort map at the bottom of the first column of the listed amenities. You can zero in on the unit number. #1863 is a Lakes unit.

I'm not sure you'll are guaranteed this unit number, tho. Hopefully, an owner will be able to help you.

I don't think your unit number is guaranteed, but with Interval you usually do get them IME unless there is a problem with the unit.
