Can anyone suggest kid friendly hotels in Miami? DS8 woudl liek to go to a Marlins game for his Bday in July. SInce the stadium is a few hours from home I thought it would be fun to stay in a local hotel for a cople of nights, and go to a game one of the days. The problem is, we are not familar with Miami at all.

I would recommed a name brand hotel (Marriott, Hilton, Holiday Inn), some of the hotels in the Miami area can be a bit shady so it would be a good idea to stick to a chain you know. :surfweb:

Please. That's absolutely ridiculous. They far less shady than the trashy hotels on I-Drive in Orlando.

The Marlins currently play way out in suburbs as the new stadium downtown won't be ready until next spring, so I wouldn't suggest a hotel near the stadium. I would suggest staying at a hotel in downtown, chain or local, but the local hotels tend to be more upscale and less kid-friendly. There is a Holiday Inn right across from the pier and AmericanAirlines Arena. Assuming you are making a trip out of it, downtown is best. I'd also suggest looking jnto a GoMiami card.
