Miami - Dollar car rental on site?

Are Dollar now on site at Miami airport?

The only time we've flown into Miami, the car rental pick up was a nightmare with shuttle buses, etc. I've had a quote that suggests Dollar is now on site - does any one know if this is the case, as it would be a huge plus factor!

Hil, we dropped off our Dollar hire car at Miami before our NCL cruise last April. It is so say "onsite", but was a real nightmare. Hard to find at the best of times, I would have thought (it seemed as though we were in the back of beyond), but there were also loads of diversions thanks to roadworks.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as onsite at MIA, but I could be wrong.

Meant to mention that I emailed them a couple of times before our trip because the addresses they quote do suggest that they're onsite, but, from what you say, I don't think you'll find it any different from last time you went.

Thanks, Deb - it seems it's as I suspected, and just as off-site as before!

The Miami airport web site says there are no rental depots onsite, although Dollar have a rental desk in the airport. I guess that's how they can claim their on-site status
