Miami cruise

Thinking of booking a cruise out of Miami. Have never sailed from Miami before. Other than the Disney shuttle, what is the best way to get from an area hotel to the port? Any private shuttle services? When we cruised out of PC we used Cortrans (they were great). Can anyone recommend a company in Miami?

for Canaveral folks tend to use private shuttle companies because the airport (MCO) is 45 miles away from the port making a taxi over $100 and even the cruise shuttle in the $40 range which for 2 or 3 folks gets expensive.

Miami this is not the case .... airport to port taxi is $27 flat rate PER VEHICLE ...... and airport area hotel $17 (typical)

We’ve cruised from Miami many times, staying overnight at both airport and downtown hotels. We started using taxis to the port, but the last three we’ve used Lyft or Uber (based on quoted price). Very reasonable for two people with luggage.
